This title combines the work of aviation photographers Paulo Mata and André Garce. Both gentlemen were supported by journalist Alexandre Coutinho who wrote the historical introduction, telling the the story of the Portuguese F-16 fleet. This outstanding publication includes pictures taken in Monte Real, home of the "Falcons" and "Jaguars" F-16 squadrons, Ovar air base in the mountains and shots taken on Azores and Porto Santo Islands. Several photographs were taken on deployments in Belgium, Norway, Lithuania and in the USA during Red Flag exercises. Never before seen archive photos of the second batch aircraft and some beautiful ait-to-air shootings over the Atlantic Ocean round-up this book. Other interesting features include a live emergency sequence and life firing of ordinance.
